E. Similiya

E. Similiya is working as an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of English at Bharathi Women’s Arts and Science College, Kallakurichi. She has completed her M.Phil. in English from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli and qualified the UGC–NET examination in January 2019. She is sincere and deeply dedicated to teaching young minds, guiding students with a profound understanding of literature. Equally affectionate toward children and literature, she believes in nurturing intellectual curiosity with care and compassion. A lover of nature, she is known for her patience and thoughtful approach to both teaching and life. She has published a poem titled “Little Bee’s Lament” in the anthology Nature (2025), marking her creative contribution to literary writing. She is a young, budding writer with a growing passion for literary expression and academic excellence.
